Ranked Choice Voting

Ranked choice voting (RCV) or instant runoff voting (IRV) guarantees that the candidate with the most votes always wins.

As a voter, you just rank the candidates in order of preference: 1, 2, 3 and so forth. This ensures that your vote always counts and that the candidate that's elected always has majority support.
